Purpose (indications for use)

A supplement to provide those nutrients, including trace minerals, vitamins and other nutrients essential for the synthesis of red blood cells. It is a valuable supplement for foals and older horses that are in poor condition or are recovering from illness and need a boost to their health. The amount given can be varied depending on the weight and condition of the horse or foal.

Olympic Red Cell provides, in a concentrated and safe and palatable form the wide range of nutrients, water-soluble vitamins, trace elements and amino acids which can be limited in traditional diets, for the synthesis of erythrocytes (red cells) and white cells (leucocytes) in the promotion of healthy normal blood. The product is readily mixed with the daily ration of hard feed.

Directions for use
Horses showing signs of an inadequate nutritional status should be given 50g per day (foals 25g per day), i.e. 1 scoop per day ( ½ a scoop for foals) mixed with their feed. These quantities for preference should be split between 2 meals each day. Continue dosing for 2 – 3 weeks. Under adverse conditions half the above quantities may be used continuously as maintenance doses, i.e. ½ a scoop (¼ scoop for foals).

Storage of product

Always store Olympic Red Cell Supplement with the lid sealed or the mouth of the bag closed raised off the floor and out of direct sunlight in a cool dry store room, free from fluctuating temperatures and rodent, bird and insect infestation.
